The objectives of the Advanced Diploma of
Business Administration course (equivalent to
Associate Art Degree in Business Administration,
AABA) are to develop well-rounded business
executives who are equipped to solve problems within
a multi-disciplinary business environment and also
an additional area of specialization, for example,
Human Resource Management and Marketing. It also
allows students to pursue their own interests in
which are essentially business degree programs. They
will graduate with the skills and knowledge which we
expect to be in high demand as Singapore enters the
next century. Graduates find careers in general
management, and in the fields of accounting,
finance, human resource management, marketing and/or
an extension in their existing professional areas in
engineering, computing etc.
Course Structure
The Advanced Diploma of Business
Administration program is an intensive
coursework and assignment program. It consists of 8
core subjects and 4 elective subjects. The advantage
of this approach is to allow you to combine the
learning of specific skills needed for success at
university level study with an introduction to the
proposed university degree.
